Mr. Ghose joined Tara Capital Partners (India) in May, 2018 after a ten-year stint at Kotak Institutional Equities, where he was the Head of Trading. Prior to that he was a Distressed Equities trader at Imperial Capital in Los Angeles (Feb 2006 - Feb 2008), a Relative Value Equities trader at Goldman Sachs in New York (March 2000 - June 2005), and a Small Cap Equities trader at NDB Capital Markets in Jersey City, NJ (July 1998 - March 2000). Anshuman is responsible for talent sourcing, talent development, local business networking and heads the India business entity. He has a BA in Economics and Commerce from St Xavier's College, Mumbai, a Diploma in Business French from the Sorbonne in Paris, and MBA (Finance) from Baruch College (CUNY) in New York.
Director & Principal Officer
Mr. Kannarath joined Tara Capital Partners (India) in Aug, 2019 and has twelve years experience in the Indian capital markets. He is responsible for Fixed Income, collateral management, and the fund’s FX hedging strategy. Prior to Tara, Jagdeep worked at Edelweiss Securities for twelve years (Jul-2007 to Jul- 2019), with a major part of the stint at the Fixed Income desk. He was responsible for global investor sales, and Fixed Income research at Edelweiss, advising institutional clients on liquid, high grade bonds. He has also worked as a Project Manager at Inductis Consulting (Nov- 2005 to Jul- 2007) and as a Management Trainee at ICICI Bank (May- 2005 to Nov-2005). Jagdeep has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) , Ahmedabad.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Sandalwala heads Technology and Quantitative Research for Tara Capital Partners (India). He began his career with Credit Suisse in their Systematic Market Making Group (SMG), focused on market‐making and high‐turnover strategies. Along with proprietary strategy development, Mr. Sandalwala also leads the development of the main platform used for the entire group’s front‐office trading, risk management and straight through post-trade applications. Adil joined Tara Capital Partners in 2013 to lead the firm’s Quantitative Research and Technology efforts in India. He manages a team of twelve Technology, Quant Research and Analytics professionals. He has a Masters degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.
Head - Algorithmic Trading
Mr. Jain heads the Algorithmic Trading business for Tara Capital Partners (India). He is leading the firm's efforts for the development of a low latency - automated trading vertical as a part of the firm's global setup. Abhijeet joined Tara Capital Partners in November, 2020. He has more than ten years of algorithmic trading experience. Before joining Tara Capital Partners, Abhijeet established and ran an independent proprietary Algorithmic Trading desk for close to four years. Prior to that, he worked with AlphaGrep Securities as a Quantitative Strategist (for over five years). Abhijeet has also worked with marketRx India Pvt. Ltd as a Business Associate. Abhijeet has a dual degree - B.Tech and M.Tech in Electrical and Communications Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay
